Car Tuning

When you buy any performance parts for your vehicle its very important to tune your car. Tuning your car is when you change the ECU of the car so it can read the new parts without and problems. It also will make the car run at its best with the new upgraded performance parts installed. When tuning a car some things you can tune is:

  1. "Ignition Timing

  2. Air/Fuel Ratio

  3. More boost!

  4. Governors

  5. Launch Control" (Fenske)

The device that I use to tune my Subaru is a Cobb AccessPort v2 as seen below. My car is fully stage 3. This device does several other things than just tune your car. Since is connects by the OBD2 port in your car it can read everything for example rpm, coolant temp, psi on boost, and a bunch of other active data to make sure nothings wrong with the car.
